BEM-Flemish Construction and Investment Company NV is a private
investment company. Its shareholders are prominent, stable companies
in Belgium, drawn from the worlds of
construction and property and the fi nancial sector.
BEM is a private equity fund with the following objectives:
- to meet the many investment opportunities for real estate
projects in Central and Eastern European countries;
- to respond to the lack of private equity on the Central
and Eastern European market;
- to enable developers of real estate projects in Central
and Eastern Europe to assemble the equity capital required by the
banks.
